Not just for pet urine

Recently we've developed a urine problem in this house. (Hopefully that's vague enough that it won't get me into trouble.) Scouring the carpet at 4 in the morning is getting to be a little challenging, and some items of clothing have been exiled to the garage until a solution is found.

Anti-Icky-Poo arrived today. I ordered it because I remembered it had been useful when I took in an abused puppy several years ago. (Accidents happened several times a day until he learned he didn't have to be afraid of me.) I took one pair of pants that had been washed and dried about four times, but the smell remained. All I accomplished with all that laundry was to bake the smell into the fabric. I sprayed the pants with Anti-Icky-Poo--enough to wet the fabric, but not soaking wet--and set them aside for three hours. Then they went into the laundry.

It worked. The smell is gone. The rest of the laundry will get the treatment tonight and get washed tomorrow, and I've diluted some Anti-Icky-Poo with 3 parts water to soak the carpet at the bathroom door.

I don't like the perfume smell, but it fades fairly quickly and it's a whole lot better than stale urine smell. Anti-Icky-Poo works too well to really complain about that. And of course I get funny looks when I tell anyone what product I'm using. Usually that would be bad, but laughter has been kind of scarce around here lately. So for that I'll give a sixth star.

Didn’t work very well

After shampooing my cat pee smelling carpet with another product, the carpet still reeked of cat pee. So, I saturated the carpet with Simple Solutions, let it sit for 15 minutes, then used a carpet shampooer to clean the carpet. The carpet still smells of cat pee! What a waste of money!

this stuff is miraculous! my poor little kit was recently sick, which made him unable to control where he went to the bathroom. my apartment was a disaster with sick kitty urine stains and stenches. the clean up effort was for naught because every commercial product i used was ineffective at killing the odor. (i had ONLY tried other all natural products, incidentally. so i don't know how well the chemically toxic ones work.)

i bought this product at the local pet shop as kinda my last hope. it not only works very well at odor elimination, it leaves a fresh scent. and of course, eliminates the stain.

saturate the stain on the carpet (or wherever). wait a minute or two. give it a good rub with a cloth (or paper towel, if you're into throwing away trees unnecessarily), and then just let it dry.
(oh yeah. check first on a hidden spot of the surface you're cleaning to make sure it's not color fast.)
the product has natural cultures in it that consume the bio-matter you're cleaning (e.g., urine, poo, hurl, etc.). once the bio-matter is gone, the stain & odor are gone. it's wonderful!
it's similar to what yogurt does in your digestive system. gets rid of the nasties.

so yeah. i totally recommend this.

This is one of the best stain fighting products I’ve ever used, period. Can’t find it in stores around me so I’m ordering more here. From carpets to clothing, this, I’ve found, cleans stains from them all. We have a dog, so I’ve used it for some of her accidents, always works and the smell is great!OUT! I am very nearly ocd. I’ve tried them all. And I can promise you I have never used anything that works like this stuff. What a ridiculous name. It so under-sells the product. But seriously, you can practically throw away all the scrubbing tools because you rarely have to even rub it in. Just pour a tiny bit of this stuff on ANY spot and the stain is gone. I’ve used it on everything too. Furniture, carpets, my tent, laundry. The biggest test of all is cat pee. And yes, it gets the smell out, even OLD set in cat pee. And it works on grease too. Car grease. As in tracked in on the bottom of the lazy guy’s feet. You know who I’m talking about—that guy who won’t wipe his feet OR take off his shoes. It even took out some old dryer cooked in stains, including blood and Sharpie stains. Love it. I don’t buy ANY other stain removing product anymore. Bought a case of this stuff.

Saved my couches!

This product really worked for us. Our cat periodically sprays an upholstered chair and couch and we have tried many products (enzyme based) that worked fairly well but did not completely remove the smell. Tried anti-icky poo on a whim and it completely removed the smell. I was pretty surprised that it worked so well. The smell of the product itself is strong, but that fades within a couple of days and is an improvement over cat pee!

This product works great! I use it on fabrics and hardwood floors. It completely removes odors and doesn’t leave a film on my hardwood. I also use it like febreeze to refresh fabrics. Takes out pet stains well. Can only find it on amazon. Apparently Walmart no longer carries it.

Bad cat, Good solution

If your pet engages in, er, “inappropriate elimination,” normal cleaners don’t do the trick to get the smell out. This stuff works pretty well, although it seems to take a few days for the smell to really fade. I believe there are other similar products that may work just as well, but I liked this one because I was able to purchase it for a good price … and I got a handheld UV light at the same time. I got a kick out of crawling around the house like Grissom from CSI, looking for all the cat pee. Of course, the thrill of that activity wears thin after a while.

The remover works really great. It has a very pleasant smell and foams as you clean the area with the remover. Recommend this product to anyone who has cats.

No Miracle Here!

I purchased a gallon of this stuff upon a recommendation from a pet store employee. Sure enough when my puppy had his first accident I ran for the Nature's Miracle.

It helped but it didn't solve the problem. In fact, it made the stain yellow and it smelled like a bottle of rubbing alcohol. This happened time and again with future stains.

Out of frustration I went back to the pet store and purchaed their second best seller, Simple Solution. That actually worked and it even removed the yellowing that Nature's Miracle caused.

The Simple Solution was less expensive, smelled better and most importantly it worked! Nature's Miracle doesn't live up to its name.
